If generation stops
Keep the page open, check your connection and try again. A technical failure should not count as a paid regeneration.

Send the private listening link through Messages, WhatsApp, email or another service you trust.
No app required
The listening page opens in a modern browser. The recipient does not need a Dear Arthur account.
A link will not open
Try a current browser, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then ask the sender for the full link again.
Keep links private
Anyone with a private link may be able to open it. Only send it to people you trust.

Payment happens on Stripe after you have listened to the preview and chosen to continue.

Stripe sends your receipt to the email address you use at checkout.
Payment is taking a moment
Keep the page open and do not pay again. Dear Arthur will keep checking the verified payment record and return you to the right song.

Songs may be created with generative AI and can occasionally make mistakes. Preview before sharing.
Respectful use
Do not use Dear Arthur to threaten, harass, impersonate, deceive or expose private information.
Children
A parent or responsible adult should create and share children’s content parent-to-parent.

Only add details you have a legitimate reason and permission to use.

Search the messaging app or email where you shared it. Also check the original device’s browser history.
Gather useful details
Keep the approximate creation date, recipient first name, sender name, Stripe receipt and any private link.

Arthur can guide you through recovery now. Automatic private order lookup is kept off until the verified payment and email connections are active.
